India gem and jewellery exports rise in September 2026
India’s gross gem and jewellery exports rose 9.43 per cent year-on-year in September 2026 to USD 2.95 billion, compared with USD 2.70 billion a year earlier. In rupee terms, exports increased 18.24 per cent to Rs 28,157.55 crore.
For April–September 2026, exports grew 3.07 per cent year-on-year to USD 14.30 billion. Growth in studded gold jewellery, silver jewellery and polished lab-grown diamonds supported the first-half performance, offsetting declines in plain gold jewellery and cut and polished diamonds.
