Indian cotton yarn prices rise due to higher costs and demand
Indian cotton yarn prices have increased because of higher raw cotton costs and better weaving demand, with fewer supplies available. Mills are trying to recover higher costs by raising prices, especially for yarns in high demand.
Cotton arrivals in northern India have slowed, making raw materials harder to get. However, demand from weaving units has picked up, though not all yarn types are selling well. Export interest remains limited and focused on price.
