India Expands Gems and Jewellery Exports via FTAs
India is expanding exports of lab-grown diamonds, coloured gemstones and heritage jewellery using preferential market access under Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), the Commerce Ministry said.
The outreach programme in Jaipur focused on identifying export-ready products, understanding tariff preferences and rules of origin, and connecting with overseas buyers. India's trade agreements with the UAE, Australia, EFTA countries and the UK offer opportunities for exporters to enter new markets.
