About The Export Guide

Export news for India, organised by HS code.

What we publish

News that changes how Indian goods sell abroad: duties, rules, bans, trade deals and shifts in demand. Each story is filed under the HS codes it affects, so an exporter of a product finds the news that matters to that product.

How a story is made

  • Every day we search official sources and news publishers for export news.
  • A draft is written from those sources with the help of AI.
  • An editor reads every draft and approves it before it goes up. Nothing is published automatically.
  • Every story lists and links the sources it was written from.

Pictures

Story pictures are AI-generated illustrations, captioned “Illustration”. They are not photographs of the events.
