Goa urged to use FTAs for exports

Goa should use India’s Free Trade Agreements to export traditional products like cashew, feni, mangoes and bebinca, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said. He called for better quality, packaging and certification to make local products competitive globally.

The Chief Minister highlighted Goa’s infrastructure, including Mormugao Port and Manohar International Airport, as supports for export businesses. A workshop discussed how FTAs can help local enterprises access international markets and improve their export capabilities.
