India ships mangoes to Maldives for first time

APEDA has sent the first air shipment of Neelam and Totapuri mangoes from Karnataka to the Maldives. This is a new step for India’s mango exports and opens up new market chances.

The shipment was sent by Ahalya Devi Ventures. It shows the role of women-led businesses in India’s agri-export sector. Farmers earned higher returns through this export.
