Indian turmeric exports up 4% in Apr-Jul 2026

Indian turmeric exports increased by 4% in April–July 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. This growth happened even as total Indian spices exports declined year-on-year.

Stronger demand for IPM-compliant turmeric is reshaping the market. Non-compliant lots face more rejections in Europe, while compliant material is in higher demand from food and supplement buyers.
