Indian turmeric prices firm but export quotes stable

Indian turmeric prices are firmer, with NCDEX futures near the upper end of their 52-week range. October contracts trade around ₹22,500 per quintal and December near ₹22,968 per quintal.

FOB EUR quotes for key export grades have been stable over the past three to four weeks. Turmeric dried finger Nizamabad, double polished, grade A, India FOB Telangana is indicated at EUR 1.40/kg; turmeric dried finger Salem, double polished, grade A, India FOB Telangana at EUR 1.57/kg; organic turmeric whole, India FOB New Delhi at EUR 2.38/kg; and organic turmeric powder, India FOB New Delhi at EUR 3.22/kg.
