India-New Zealand FTA benefits jewellery exporters

The India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) starts today, offering duty-free access for India’s gem and jewellery exporters to New Zealand. This opens new opportunities for Indian exporters in the New Zealand market.

India’s gem and jewellery exports to New Zealand were US$ 25.43 million in FY 2025-26. GJEPC aims to double exports to US$ 50 million in two years, using the FTA to increase competitiveness and expand market presence.
