India-US virtual exhibition connects exporters with buyers

The Consulate General of India in New York and the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council hosted a virtual exhibition on 23 October 2026. The event connected Indian exporters with American buyers through a digital platform.

Thirty-five Indian companies, including many MSMEs, presented jewellery collections and explored partnerships. Industry stakeholders said the US market accounted for about 30% of India’s gem and jewellery exports in FY2024-25, worth nearly US$10 billion.
