Udaipur and Rajsamand stone exports shift to unworked stone

Udaipur and Rajsamand are known for marble. The government’s One District One Product list names marble and granite products as the product of both districts.

Over three years, exports of worked and finished stone from the two districts fell, while exports of unworked stone rose. In 2025-26, unworked stone exports from the two districts were worth more than worked stone exports for the first time in these three years.
